Our Dry Bib package is recommended during the Spring and Winter when water levels are high and temperatures are cold. The Dry Bibs come up to the armpits providing more coverage than the Dry Pants. Dry Bibs can be worn with an optional Dry Top to create a full drysuit; this is ideal for shorter hikes, high flow days, and top-down hikers. A tight rubber gasket in the ankle of the bibs keeps all water out, allowing hikers to wear regular hiking clothes and insulating layers underneath. Feet will get wet but will be kept warm by the neoprene socks which insulate and cause much fewer blisters than a regular wet sock. The canyoneering boots provide unmatched grip on wet and dry rock and provide necessary ankle support. The wooden hiking stick is ideal for balance and stability and holds up much better than regular trekking poles in the Narrows.
Not sure which gear to rent? Adjustments can be made upon arrival if needed. Reservations are optional. We keep plenty of equipment in stock in order to accommodate all walk-in customers.
Dry Bib Package includes:
Dry bibs (waders)
