Whether you’re planning a hike in the Narrows, biking the canyon, or just looking to rinse off after a day in the park—this is your go-to resource for current logistics, gear tips, and visitor info.

Store Hours & Location

We’re open daily from 7am to 9pm (Summer hours).

Note: If you’re traveling from Las Vegas, remember that Nevada is one hour behind Utah!

Parking Info

  • Paid Parking ($30+) in our lot

  • Free Parking at the Zion Visitor Center (arrive early)
  • RV Parking available at the Visitor Center in the Park and on Lion Blvd in Springdale

  • Springdale Street Parking + free Springdale Shuttle service to our shop


Getting Around Zion

  • Zion National Park Shuttle
    (required for Zion Canyon):
    Departs from the Visitor Center
    January 1-March 5: 8am-7pm

    March 6-May 17: 7am-8pm
  • Private Trailhead Shuttles(for hikes outside main canyon):

River Conditions & Trail Status


Hikers must check current conditions before entering the Narrows. The Narrows is open, and water levels are steady. Closures can occur if the river flow exceeds:

  • 150 CFS for bottom-up hikes
  • 120 CFS for top-down hikes

Narrows Gear Rentals

  • Pickup: Morning of hike or evening prior (4–8 pm) based on availability
  • Return: All rentals due back by 8pm
  • Recommended Package: Warm Weather Package
Includes: Canyoneering boots, neoprene socks, wooden hiking stick

Need to swap sizes? No problem—our staff can adjust gear day-of.
Neoprene socks or sticks can also be rented à la carte for $9 each (walk-in only), but we highly recommend the full package for stability and protection.

Narrows Rental Reservations

  • Reserve gear up to one day prior to your hike
  • No size required to reserve—we guarantee availability until 10am
  • After 10am? Walk-ins are welcome, and we rarely run out
  • No additional fee for evening pickup
  • Refunds available with 24-hour notice—or same-day with the original card

Reserve Your Narrows Gear

Bike Rentals at Zion Outfitter

  • Reserve online for first 40 bikes
  • Remaining inventory rented first come, first served (from 7am)

  • All bikes due back by 8pm daily
  • Bike racks available at all shuttle stops

  • No overnight holds, additional day rates, or trailers
  • Kids’ bikes (24″ + 26″) are walk-in only
*Note: We do not have tandem bikes or bikes with kids seats.  We get that question a lot

Pedal-Assist E-Bike Rentals

  • First 30 available for online reservation
  • Remaining available for walk-ins daily at 7am
  • Must be returned by 8pm for overnight charging
  • No e-bike reservations on holiday weekends
  • Age Requirement: 14+ (under 18 must ride with an adult)

  • Helmets + locks provided. One rider per bike.
  • Wooden stick holders available for Narrows-bound riders

*Note: We do not have tandem bikes or bikes with kids seats.  We get that question a lot

cancellation Policy

We request 24 hour notice for cancellation of equipment rentals, but will gladly provide a refund for any unused equipment for any reason. Please bring in the physical card used for your payment for an in-store refund or email info@zionoutfitter.com.

Tubing Update

We no longer offer tube rentals for floating the Virgin River.


Inflatable tubes for purchase are available in the shop during spring/summer ($25–$45 range).
