The Narrows is a strenuous 5 mile hike through the most famous canyon in Zion National Park. If 5 miles does not seem like enough for you, just obtain a permit from the park and you can walk 11 miles from the top down through the Narrows.
Most families will hike to the Orderville confluence and then return. The confluence is approximately 1.5 miles past the riverside walk. Wall Street begins just a few blocks past that point.
Stop by Zion Outfitter and get geared up with our, “Narrows Package” which is only $21. The package includes a canyoneering shoe, a 5 mm neoprene sock and a wooden hiking pole.
Our outfitters will help you with every aspect of your trip including knowledge of weather conditions and flash flood potential.In the spring and autumn the water is considerably colder and we suggest wearing dry pants and a fleece. Dry pants can be rented from the shop for an additional $18 or a full drysuit for $28.

Our shop has direct access to the paved Pa’rus Bike Trail that runs throughout Zion National Park and also the Zion Canyon Shuttle. You have the option of riding up Zion Canyon via the Pa’rus Trail or putting your bike on the complimentary shuttle and coasting down the Canyon.
